D 15.2 Mandatory passing

The sign indicates that vehicles and large mopeds must pass on the side the arrow points to. However, this does not apply to driving to a stop area, in the bus lane, parking lane or similar.

D 16 Optional passing

The sign indicates that vehicles and large mopeds can pass on both sides of the sign.


D 21 Cycle track

The sign indicates the lane that must be used by cyclists and drivers of small mopeds and may only be used by these, however, in consideration of the Road Traffic Act, Section 14, item 3. The lane can, however, be used by pedestrians, see the Road Traffic Act, Section 10. The plate below the sign can indicate that small mopeds must be driven on the roadway.


D 22 Walkway

The sign indicates a lane that must be used by pedestrians and only pedestrians.


D 23 Bridle path

The sign indicates a lane that must be used by horse riders and only horse riders.


D 26 Divided path

The sign indicates a path with several lanes, which are separated by road markings, shoulder or similar. Each lane must be used by the type of traffic specified with the symbol and must only be used by the type of traffic.


D 27 Shared path

The sign indicates a lane that must be used by several types of traffic and may only be used by these. The types are indicated with a symbol. Users of a shared path must demonstrate mutual consideration, see the Road Traffic Act, Section 3, item 1.


D 55 Lowest speed

The order applies to drivers except for cyclists and drivers of small mopeds. This applies until it is discontinued with sign D 56 or with distance indication on the plate below the sign.
